• 28 May 2001:Heffernan family tree added
• 28 May 2001:families related to Crowleys by marriage has been added.
• 14 June 2001: Email link has been updated. I have a new email address
• October 2001 has seen some major updates:
  Much information relating to Daniel Stephens brothers and sisters has been added.
• Because of these additions I have adapted the colour scheme for all family trees. If you belong for example to the fourth generation your name will have that colour in all family trees that you appear in. The colour scheme is as follows: Generation 1, Generation 2, Generation 3, Generation 4, Generation 5 & Generation 6.
• A new family tree has been added covering all available information relating to generations 1 (James 1844 & Mary 1840) through to generation 4 (Paul Hyland to Mark Crowley).
• Friars Walk map has been simplified & updated to include where Daniel Stephens brothers & sisters lived.
• A photo album specific to the grandchildren of James Crowley (1903) & Bridget nee Heffernan has been added
• An aweful mistake has been corrected. One of Daniel Stephen & Mary nee Mehigans 14 children was left out of the list. Kathleen (died 2 weeks) born between Billy and Dan was left out. Kathleen has been reincluded.
• Peadars family tree: Gillian Crowley (Dan & Irenes' daughter) married Julian Kulkarni.
• James family tree: Karen O'Toole married Jan Morovic.
• Three stories from the 1974 Rhubarb Leaf have been added.

• 17 June 2002: I have made inquiries with the Superintendent of St. Joseph's Cemetery, James Crowley (1844 - 1910) and his wife Mary nee Crowley are NOT buried at St. Joseph's.

• Garry Crowleys family: We offer our sympathy at recent death of Elizabeth. Both Kathrine and Timothy have had recent addition to their respective families. Congratulations. I have updated the family trees.
• Who says Friday the 13th is not a lucky day. Congratulations to Gillian and Julian Kulkarni on the birth of their twin daughters Sophie and Mia born December 13th, 2002.
• 6 Januari 2003: Partner of Kathrine, Garrys daughter has been corrected
• Jan Francis (Jancsika) was born on 2 March 2003 at 11.49 pm and weighed 9 lb 14 oz (4.48 kg). Mum Karen (nee O'Toole) are his dad Jan Morovic are not looking for babysitters... yet! Congratulations to all three of you.
• Congratulations to Barry Crowley & Mika on the birth of their baby girl Amélie who was born March 28th, 2003. We have lots of Amélie here. Hope you are all well.
• Congratulations to Edwin & Danette O' Connell on the birth of their daughter Ana Claire on April 28th 2003.
• 5 June 2003: The date of birth and death of James Joseph have been moved up two days. We obtained an official birth cert confirming his date of birth.
• 5 June 2003: From an official birth cert it seems that Danial Stephen (1872) was born at Weighhouse lane and not at Barrack street. Due to another possible mistake on the birth cert, which we are checking at the moment we shall not be modifying the editorial section just yet.
• 12 June 2003: Corrected the spelling of Jane nee MacDonald's surname.
• Brian Crowley has become a Granddad. 'Well I never...' Congratulations to Ronan Crowley and Jane Wallis on the birth of Thomas Jeremiah Wallis Crowley on 31st May 2003.
• 11 August 2003: Family tree of Carol and Hazel has been updated
• 2 September 2003: Information added about Fenian leader Peter O'Neill Crowley
• 2 September 2003: In the summer of 2003 while in Ireland I tried to obtain Daniel Stephan's birth certificate. I received one where all the details were right except Daniel Stephens name, which was recorded as James. I phoned to enquire about the mistake, only to be told after a subsequent search that no entry, corresponding with the particulars given in your recent application, was found in that period. This would mean that Daniel Stephen was registered as James his fathers name. This was seemingly not that unusual at the time and as he did not have any brothers called James, there is no real problem. Daniel Stephan baptised his children Una as Hanna and Peadar and Paul were to have other names as well.
• Updated: Seamus Crowley was born May 9th, 2003. Son of Dennis Crowley and Alison Crowley (Dans granddaughter, Dons daughter). Congratulations to all. Photos have been received and will go online as soon as possible.
• Congratulations to Evelyn and Stephan Spellman on the birth of their son John Joseph Patrick on October 15th, 2003.

• Stephen Crowley, Grandson of Dan and son of Roy. Stephen married Elaine Dolan on December 22, 2003. Stephen and Elain have a daughter Kate Dolan Crowley who was born July 8th, 1999. Stephen, Elaine and Kate have their own clan page and the family trees have been updated.
• Stephens sister Edel has also been in touch. Congratulations on the birth of Conor Gerard Crowley-Hughes. The family tree has been updated and a clan page is on its way.
• June 22nd, 2004: We have had 272,443 hits since May 2002
• In August 2004 I was given a copy of The Land of the Finest Drop by Richard Henchion**. On page 137, there is a census record from 1901, which I have tried and failed to find. Two very interesting things can be see in this record. 1/. Four Murphy grandchildren all under 16 also resided in the house. Margaret, James (1844) and Marys daughter married an unknown Murphy. What happened to Margaret and her husband we do not yet know. 2/. Daniel Stephan and brother Jeremiah were next door neighbours. But in the 1901 census another Jeremiah Crowley lived next to or near James Crowley (1844). This Jeremiah is two years younger. I have a feeling, though no proof yet that James and Jerimiah were brothers. A second reason for this impression is that Jeremiah also has sons Daniel and Timy (Timothy was James son). Our clan are notorious for reusing names. James (1844) had four grandsons called James. One of those grandchildren was my Grandfather. And he had three grandchildren with the name James as well. So I will be keeping an eye out for more information on this front.
• I also found both the 1901 and 1911 census records for Florence, including the names of his wife and children. Florences records and those of his sister Margaret have been added to the James (1844) family tree
• I will be scanning in the census records for both Florence (1901 & 1911) and Daniel Stephen (1901). It is interesting to note that in 1901 two garden servants were living with Daniel Stephan, his wife Mary and four children (James, May, Charles, Peggy). They were Robert Wren (17 years old) and William MacNamara (45).
• March 2005: Moved to a new webhost. This gave me the excuse I needed to rebuild the entire site. The rebuild makes it easier to maintain and brings the website up another level.
• October 2005: It's been very quiet the last few months, mostly my own fault but we have a few updates.
• Louis Joseph Wallis Crowley(10th September 2005) was born to Ronan Crowley and Jane Wallis
• We are very sorry to hear that Liam's wife Mary died last year, 2nd April 2004.
• Eamonns son Brendan married Colette Walsh in 2004.
• Donals son Fergal Stephen and Lillian O' Mahony will be getting married in January
• Bredas son Fran O' Toole is getting married to Claire Delany on 20th May 2006.
• I have corrected a number of inaccuracies on Bills Clan page
• Griffin Crowley (9th November 2005) was born to Finbarr James (called Barry) and Ishihara Mikako (called Mika) [P]
• Megan (21st November 2005) and Jack (21st November 2005) were born to Cathleen (called Cathy) and Malachi Mallon. Congratulations and great to hear it all went well.
• Kieran Crowley (25th November 2005) was born to Gavin and Rachel Hayes. Congratulations.
• We have corrected the spelling of Alyn, Kevin Barry's son.
• Tomás Spelman (16th October 2006) was born to Evelyn and Stephan Spelman. A big lad weighing in at 10lbs and 4 ounces! Congratulations.
• Valerie Molloy is marrying Shane Jennings on November 14th, 2006. We wish you both an long and happy life together.
• Congratulations to Gillian and Julian Kulkarni on the birth of their third child, Grace Lucy Florence Kulkarni born January 23rd 2007.
• Congratulations to Dominic and Donna Macloud on the birth of their third child, Edward Peter (called Ned) born October 7th 2006.
